About the compound.
GHK-Cu is a naturally occurring copper-binding tripeptide (Gly-His-Lys) first identified in human plasma by Loren Pickart in 1973. Plasma levels decline measurably with age. The compound has been studied across an unusual breadth of tissues — dermal, hepatic, neural, pulmonary — with substantial gene-expression work showing modulation of more than 4,000 human genes back toward youthful baseline patterns.
